Another really good source for ID is the Color Encyclopedia of Hostas. I like it because the hostas are sorted according to colour.

If you are going to post pictures here to try to get an ID, please give us as much info as possible. Of particular importance is the size of the hosta. Some large hostas with large leaves can look very much like small ones with small leaves in a picture unless there is something included to give a scale to the photo.

Also helpful are:
- the colour of the petiole
- whether the flower stalks are leafy or not
- the colour of the flower
- whether the flowers are fragrant
- flowers double or single?
- the time the plant flowers
- whether the plant changes colour during the season and how it changes colour

I've probably left things out, but basically, the more information you can give us, the better chance we have of IDing the hosta.
