A pretty evergreen that we use as groundcover under hedges and around the base of trees where other plants are reluctant to grow. There are several varieties, typically with blue flowers but other colors are available. Vinca major is slightly taller but can be invasive, vinca minor creates a more dense mat of ground-cover. Both are pretty and great for suppressing weeds, and both have a very long flowering season.
