Not knowing what exactly to call the plant, I guess the best thing to do would be to move the image to the generic Aloe listing, unless/until someone steps forward with an ID. Please let me know what you think.


Are you sure that is brevifolia and not xnobilis?

Here is my small A. brevifolia.

And here is Aloe xnobilis.
I do not have a more recent picture, but the plant given as A. brevifolia looks exactly like my plant looks right now.

It is my understanding that Aloe brevifolia has more blue-green leaves whereas the really green specimens are often mistakenly identified as A. brevifolia but are actually A. xnobilis. The flowers are very different so would be indicative.
It is what it is!
