DFW unfortunately I am the only member listed in the AHS directory, so I have been tagged and I am expected to bring the rest of you with me. We are the only state in the union that’s not named in this international organization. We are needed to help spread the love of Hostas in our area.
DFW is under the umbrella of the Dixie Regional Hosta Society as you can see from the map, this is huge and a wonderful opportunity to be a part of something great! Additionally we have been invited to host the 2011 or the 2013 here in Dallas, so let’s get this group together and show how big Texas really is.
I just revamped my old yahoo site for the time being to gather information until we can set up our first meeting. I also have in my possession the AHS guide to assist us in setting up a society. There are seven officer position which I will email you with their responsibilities … I feel the faster we can get these positions filled, the better take off and the more fun we can have.
