Ferny Corydalis (Corydalis cheilanthifolia)

In my zone 7 shade, this faithfully makes a lovely thick mound of ferny foliage, then is topped with light yellow spikes of flowers. I find it more refined and compact than the more well known C. lutea. This self sows but not with wild abandon. In typical winters, the foliage is bronzed and still attractive.
Plant it and they will come.
