This one Pia. Look at those big fat leaves, and the color is beautiful.
Great link again Julia.
Kevin I see what you mean about the rosebud center. And they are pretty much green year round. The blooms are beautiful.
Just came in for a bit to eat. One new bed done and the second on it's way to completion.
While the guys are building I've been pruning roses, tri-color willow and went through the raised beds cleaning out the few leaves that were there, and an occasional weed. Not many of those so far. I also put out slug bait, the slugs are on the move, all over the lawn. Did all the beds and borders and even sprinkled some on the lawns. My Cyclamen coum has bright colors buds, C. hederifolium is not showing any signs of blooming yet. The tiny Iris reticulat 'Pixie' is blooming.
Eriogonum caespitosum is coming out of dormancy, Polygala chamaebuxus is blooming, and buds are on the Gentiana dinarica 'Montenegro', and this is after digging up the Polygala and Gentian about 3 weeks ago and moving them to one of the borders along the creek. It also looks like Erodium 'Natasha' is coming our of dormancy. It is evergreen, but looks like it is starting to put on new growth.
Well, going to get something to eat and go back out.
Opps, almost forgot to post the photos I took this morning.
