yes, y'all, I know my little 3 inch potted hellebores are brand new, never experienced a winter yet. . . that's why I call them my babies.
all of mine started out as little "babies" and, since I kept buying a few every year. . I have 4,3,2 and first winters plants. This year, all 'cept the 2015 "babies" (three of them) will be in bloom this winter.
And with those 3 in 2015. . I've officially closed their flower bed to any new additions. Now, all my hellibores need to get to growing, so I don't see so much bare ground!!!
I've got spring bulbs, perennials (decidous and evergreen) and what flower bed space I haver left, I'm devoting to ever-blooming annuals!
I'm also anticipating moving (one reason for detailed flower bed maps: I'm taking them all WITH ME!!!
