Ken, no, I have not soaked them. I couldn't imagine that they would be soaked in their natural/native habitat.
I honestly don't know what the exact germination rate on those is. But I think it is probably in the neighborhood of 90 %, most of the sown seeds did come up. The thing is, my seeds are easy to come by, I have seed horns after every Summer, so that was not much of a consideration. I could imagine if one buys some very special seeds of a rare plant, the focus would be different.
