Daphne, edgeworthia, and foam flower are my favorites..that I can manage to get to a bloom AND not get devoured. Lilac is a favorite but we don't have long enough / deep enough cold and roses are deer food. Also a subtle favorite that wafts around the garden..with the best spicy scent is caryopteris dark knight.

Who can resist the scent of the fringe tree...although short lived?
Don't squat with yer spurs on!

People try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved
