It was pure accident that I have that combo. Last year I was thinning out the bulbs and running out of spots to put them. I was walking by that large container, stopped, and poked a few holes through the Angelina, and here they are this January. : )
I also did that with another large container filled with creeping wooley thyme. I poked some species tulips and miniature daffodils in this container to keep the iris company. I plan on doing more containers this fall when I divide the bulbs again. I also have them growing in all of my raised beds, with the sempervivum.
