Larry,..i did notice your posting the appearance of the Daffodil Bloom and thinking,..there goes my so called surprise bloom Whistling Larry has got there before me so nothing new about my news Rolling on the floor laughing

Annie,..no idea of the variety,..in fact i didn't know what the bulbs were when i found them,..a friend gave me some flowerpots stacked one inside the other,..the bottom one contained small bulbs and they didn't look big enough to be Daffodils,..being curious i planted them and tagged them as "Duh" delighted with the result of saving them.

Alabama and Ireland being close together Rolling on the floor laughing we do have something in common,..Daffodils blooming at the same time,..plus the Critter cage in the back of my garden looks just like the one Larry has Whistling

Arlene,..thank you I tip my hat to you.
