Thanks for the info Jacki. We are also coming into our drought season. However, we do get heavy early spring rains. This year it continued on into June. I am hoping with the amended soil and top dressing of chicken grit the heuffs will do okay this next spring. I'm not worried about most of the semps, as they seem to handle it okay. Although I do have many new varieties this year and not sure how they will do with all the rain come next spring. Time will tell. If things get to bad I can always cover the hoop house with plastic until rainy season is over.
