I sympathize--dang security not only it is just a pain to travel with all the extra scrutiny as is, it's getting practically impossible to smuggle seeds and cuttings!

When you don't trust security at airports, consider mailing things to yourself...especially if in Hawaii or Alaska where you don't have to declare items.
