My garlic is expensive too, far more expensive than what's found at our local farmer's market. Gourmet, heirloom garlic is just so special and so hard to find. My garlic averages out at $22/lb. and I sell out (within two weeks) by mid-June. I sold approximately 60 lbs. each of the last three previous years. I could easily sell much more but I am just a hobbyist grower with a smallish raised garden. The sale of my garlic helps pay for my true addiction, orchids. Sighing!

The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.
