The yellows can be very nice! 'George Slate' itself has such delicate color and form. Maybe I'll just have to continue to drench it with pink pollen. A lot of my GS crosses haven't grown up yet.
We got a puppy last spring and my lily seed beds suffered greatly. She's a digger and went digging through a seedling bed with a ton of crosses in it. Many tags flew and many seedlings lost in that grand adventure. Many GS seedlings suffered in the catastrophe.
GS has given you quite nice seedlings
. I always use it as a pod, mainly hoping for its exquisite form in the garden setting.
