You're welcome! It's one of the easiest ever ways of sowing seeds, not only of hardy perennials that might self-sow naturally in our area, but also for "half-hardy" (somewhat cold tolerant) annuals... or for just about everything in late april & may! I did a couple of followup articles, too. :-)

Whatever ends up happening long-term at DG, I really hope the articles remain accessible. There's so much great info there, and it's really handy to post a link to something Sally wrote rather than trying to type out an explanation of what I think I remember that she might have written LOL.
