It is funny how we all have different times that our trees go dormant or semi-dormant. All fall I waited for leaf yellowing/dropping and finally thought that mine would just keep their leaves. I am just referring to the six trees in the S room. December/January began their dormancy and some lost all leaves and some most leaves. Now some of trees are beginning to leaf-out. The dormancy cycle certainly wasn't due to temperature, since the S room never got below 62F. The trees get several hours of sunlight but that sunlight is filtered by the roof-glass. I guess the suns intensity/time of exposure triggers the dormancy.

Lucky, I try to keep all my plumeria within 7' height. They are "trees" in nature, so the height probably doesn't matter. I do have 2-3 compact/dwarf varieties and it doesn't look like they will get over 4' tall (so far, anyway). I guess they are still trees, just dwarf ones. Thumbs up

The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.
