Less dramatic growth this week, but still looking strong.

The new points haven't grown much, however, so I think they're probably getting suppressed a bit, either hormonally or through nutrient competition. I'll wash away some media to investigate this week, and do some more cutting if it seems prudent.

The new pot has growth to about 1 inch above the media, and already coloring. As before, the original leaves died quickly after they were planted deeper, and I'll watch them closely for signs of infectious rot.

Years ago my mother used to say to me, she'd say, "In this world, Elwood, you must be" - she always called me Elwood - "In this world, Elwood, you must be oh so smart or oh so pleasant." Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. You may quote me.
