'Fabulous Black Pearl' is a semi-evergreen tetraploid introduced in 2008 by Jeff Salter. Jeff and Elizabeth Salter hybridize at Rollingwood Garden in Gainesville, Florida.

Fabulous Black Pearl is a mid-season EMO bloomer with possible rebloom. It has earned the Honorable Mention: 2014 following AHS award. It is pod and pollen fertile with 6 registered children:
