Yep, I agree it looks like the Cherry Laurel. But you may not enjoy the tree's ability to survive and thrive...look under the tree for tiny seedings and saplings; the juvenile leaves may have tiny teeth and look different than the adult leaves. This tree is very pretty but can be aggressive.
