Are the foam bricks separate and mortared together or did you carve out the brick pattern on the walls but it is a solid piece?

I carved out the brick on one solid piece...I started over on the project because i found a better way to imitate the plaster effect... In these pictures you can see how the plaster disappeared and the brick are exposed..Not a Subtle change to brick...
