Thanks everybody! I hope I see lots of butterflies, too! I saw a little yellow yesterday. I think we may see lots of early arrivals this year. Our winter has been very mild and forecasters are predicting an early spring. It was almost 80 today! I read on Journey North that the Monarchs are already stirring in Mexico due to the unseasonably warm temps there. I am glad they had no freezing temps because they a population boost after last year.

I'm planting host and nectar plant seeds and ordering plants next week from Almost Eden, so hopefully I'll be ready.

Linda, I think we may get a lot of Monarchs this year. The weather just East of Texas and Central Oklahoma has been colder with a lot more precip so I expect an active central flyway.
