Welcome, Susan! I'm totally biased, but we're the best forum on ATP. And dare I say the best thread? I should probably be impartial, and those birds folks are quite informative and friendly, but I love my butterflies. You've been doing it quite a bit longer than me! This year will be my ninth raising butterflies and moths. I welcomed you with some acorns so you can buy a badge if you want - maybe the butterfly one? Hilarious! Or whatever you choose. Be sure to fill out the info that shows in the top right corner of your posts because it really helps everyone to know where you are and what zone you garden in.

Things are a little slow right now, but I imagine they'll pick up. We've been having absolutely gorgeous weather here and yet all I want to do is tuck myself in bed and watch anime. Dad was outside yesterday and reported one Sulphur. Mom has been taking walks nearly every day to rehab her knee (which was replaced last year) and she hasn't had anything to report. But soon it should take off. I'm currently angry that someone mowed the ditch on the other side of the street. There were three host plants in that ditch! And the property behind us that sold last summer got mowed. I mean, every inch of it! Even the old homeowner would leave some stuff around the fence line and out toward the road, but we all fear they're getting ready to split the property into multiple lots. Thumbs down Developers always win in Florida, it seems.

My boss at MOSI said they got a huge plant shipment in this week and they are replanting lots of areas including the flight cage. We've got the host plants ready for whenever those butterflies want to show up!
