For my DHs and my parents memorial garden, I chose plants that they liked, not specific named ones. That way, if something happened, we could replace it easily. Roses for DHs father and some large rocks he chosen and had placed in his own rose gardens. For his mother, daffs and peonies. My mother loved hollyhocks. My father loved delosperma.
