Quite a few synonyms and a very mixed up complex. COL still has S. nigrum as an accepted name. The fruit on this plant hang down which seems to be part of keying it out. I had another look at it today. I'm hoping it will survive until some of the fruit is ripe and get a few more details about it's anatomy.
