I grow both STAR CHILD and TET STAR CHILD and love them both! My STAR CHILD is growing in the ground in my mini bed and is quite vigorous and totally lovely -- a very good plant! It is listed as a semi-evergreen but seems to be a good, solid evergreen here in Bakersfield. I highly recommend it, although we rarely get down to freezing here. But we did have three bouts of overnight freeze lasting a few days this winter and it didn't seem to faze STAR CHILD in the least.

Here are pictures of both and my STAR CHILD that I have in the ground seems to have more of an icy blue tint to it, whereas my TET STAR CHILD seems to be a little pinker. But that could be due to the fact that I have my TET STAR CHILD in a pot under my pergola, which cuts down on the amount of direct sunlight it receives.
