Etelka, I envy your wonderful gardening weather but don't think I could handle the humidity and heat. My blood is too thick I guess from living in Alaska. Hilarious! I am seriously trying to grow Clematis here. Have lost so many except for one rather unimpressive one that hardly ever blooms but the plant is a nice kind of gold color. I have one that survived last summer and thrived (even bought a trellis in hopes of winter survival). Then I ordered another to replace the one I lost in the front yard. I am thinking I might put it in a pot and try to get it more robust before putting it into the ground. I know others have been successful here and I really love them.
From -60 Alaska to +100 Virginia. Wahoo
