Inasmuch you are on my plant want waiting list, Karen, I can add a rooted cutting or two of this plant. I too love this species -- I haven't had much luck flowering extensively pruned plants, but the flowers are beautiful and are borne profusely on freely grown plants -- just enter Pereskia portulacifolia in your favorite search engine to see numerous pics. It is a pity that this species is rarely encountered in cultivation for it has many uses for enthusiasts. I grow my plants outdoors here in our arid zone 9b Tucson climate, but I bring them indoors or cover them when freezing nights are forecast because it is a tropical cactus.
