I've grown them for a few years, Mia. They like lots of water, and I find the flowers last a lot longer in partial shade. That being said, the flowers have never lasted longer than a week for me. Not great value for the garden space they take up, with big long leaves all year. So I divide them and give them away to my friends and neighbors. Just keeping a small clump going now.
