Generally most of the small ones will, but it depends on what zone you're in and the amount of daylight they will receive. This link will take you to our clematis database: The Clematis Database Then click on "search by characteristics", scroll way down the page to the "Containers" heading and check the box by "Suitable in 3 gallon on larger". Go to the bottom of the page and click "Search". It should show you approx. 160 of the clematis in our database that will do well in 3 gal. or larger containers.
