Nope, can't add a clickable link to "comments" or to any other field that I tried. But since, as you pointed out, the plant name ITSELF is a clickable link to its database entry, that's actually not a big deal.
I'm just happy to have a tool that's so much less cumbersome than what I've done in the past!
