The weaving is a good idea, but I'm with Pat. Much easier to put a second fence on your side. It's amazing what those foot tall rolls of green fencing will keep out too. I had them along the property line to keep the neighbor from shooting his weeds out of his mower into my flower bed. It also stymied another neighbor's small dog because he couldn't jump it, lol!
BTW, I've been known to do what you did as long as it doesn't cause any problems to the neighbor.
