We're just assuming it was killed. This was in a new area for them, our graveled driveway. They had about 5 holes with dirt around them and kept making more. After the gassing, no more holes were dug, and we smoothed out the soil and gravel and fixed it all and nothing has been disturbed since then. There are other areas of our land where they are going wild with holes everywhere.
