Wow did I get the responses and ideas, great ones too. We do have a huge compost bin area but I was concerned that too many leaves and not enough of other stuff
was not a good ratio. We put all our veggie leftovers in it and mower shavings in the season. I remember when we lived at the mobile home park we had a chain link
fence and ran a bamboo type mat all along it for privacy, and something like that would also solve another problem besides leaves, when my dogs are in the back yard
(which is all day since I work 8-10 hours a day, and 10 days in a row, yuk) anyway the dogs may not bark at what they cannot see. We live just yards away from a park
and people are constantly walking their dogs or taking walks and mine see them and bark and bark....and I am always concerned what barking is going on
while I am gone all day. I am retiring I hope in 6- 9 months and will have time to do more in the yard and meet her....I know all the other neighbors. I see she has
a daughter come over in spring and summer to mow and have spoke to her in the past, we was talking about the woodchuck that lives in the elderly ladies yard.
And when that daughter comes over she brings her dog so it can run along the fence and play with ours....so I missed opportunities to meet the actual woman that lives there, I have seen her in nice weather sitting out a table and reading, the only time I see her out, so I could do a short little general chat and then let her
relax and read her book. Thanks all, I will also be Googling deer fence and fence weaving material. AND, my goodness, a woman calling the police because of leaves?!
That was extreme....extreme crazy! Hilarious! Grumbling
You can complain because roses have thorns, or you can rejoice because they have roses!
