I think I have figured out why my Amaryllis bulbs were all smaller this year. It dawned on me the other day that last spring we had UV film put on our windows, I was told it wouldn't bother the plants, well I think they were wrong when it comes to the Amaryllis. All but 2 have bloom stalks, but only 1 per plant, Red Lion is just opening and the bloom is quite small compared to previous years. I think I will have to put them outside for the summer to see if that will help.
