Kayleigh, that's a bummer! We have gone through quite a few of the battery-operated drills over the years, they don't seem to last all that long under any circumstances. I have a corded drill that I rely on for everything within reach of an electrical outlet! (DH, on the other hand, loves the cordless types, but it's an endless litany of "oh, can't do that right now, the battery is dead..." )
