Rick, that would be just fine, although I do encourage you to do a drive-by of the Gardens -- most of the daffodils are easily seen from the car window and it is quite a display. If you poke around through all the various parking lots, you can actually see quite a bit. The main boardwalk is about a mile long and per the resident worker-bee, it is absolutely level. The owner is 71 years old and he was adamant about being able to wheel a chair around if/when he becomes compromised. One of the partners of this venture is Pilchuck Glass School, which is close by, and they are just in the process of placing pieces of glass art on pedestals throughout the ponds that flow along the boardwalk. In any event, my place is very easy to find, and my husband (Gary) will be wandering around. He's a friendly guy, I'll tell him you may arrive before the group does.

Hard to say how long we will be at the Gardens, I'm thinking about an hour or so. I don't have a cell phone but my husband Gary does. His # is 425-280-0709 if anyone gets lost.

On a side note, we are having some tree limbs trimmed that overhang the driveway on Saturday morning, but the crew (of 4) plans to arrive at 8 am and they should be long gone by the time we get done with the gardens. As a backup plan and if need be, we do have an alternate access that cuts across our front field. Slight hill, but OK for 2 wheel drive and I'm not tweaky about ruts or squishing down the grass. We often use the field for a parking lot for large events.

Hoping tomorrow is not pouring rain, but if so, I've set up in the barn for the plant exchange. I have also tagged some tools and garden decor I don't use with pink ribbon - free for the taking! I'll have some extra plant markers and Lord knows I have plenty of empty pots. Looking forward to a fun time!
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
