db entry for B. nutens says could be considered a houseplant. I've 2 containers brimming full, both are presently blooming in the cool basement, one under fluorescent lights, the other under a sodium arc lamp. They've been blooming since early Feb., one may be past it's highest bloom count but the other one seems to be entering it's seasonal bloom high count. They are stuck outside during summers. Years ago received from California in a plant trade.
