Hi mtrhowe85! I usually wait for at least one fully open leaf, before I give it a thorough watering. It is a bit of a wait, just be very patient with it. At least it has very nice leaf claws, so it is getting ready. I think the very poor humidity in my area makes it far longer than usual to grow the new leaves faster.
