It does look like a Vriesea Carinata to me, from the photo. I can't see the leaves very well. I would say it's either a Carinata or a Tiffany. Either way, congrats on the new bloom! I love when my Broms and Tillandsia bloom--especially my Tillandsia cyanea 'pink quill'. The flowers are so fragrant and attractive.
