Oh no Tim, that certainly does look like slug nibblings. I use the Sluggo brand. You will need to put it our right away. I use the pelleted form, it stays around longer in our rain. Put it down once a month until dry weather arrives.
In the fall when rain arrives again I put the bait out until freezing weather arrives.
