I love my noid one a lot! It is my first orchid, and has been in my care for the past 6 years. To be honest I do not anymore go crazy getting the actual names, as long as I know the orchid alliance where it belongs to at least, it will be my starting point learning and understanding how to grow them. Of course it is nice to have the actual name, but if purchased from big box stores, hardly you will get the name, since there are no tags most of the time, and just a lot of hybrids around.

Here is mine, my first and oldest one, acquired in Winter 2010, and it actually started my love in growing orchids. It is a noid but it taught me a lot, discipline in watering and patience! These photos taken when it was blooming in late Spring to Summer 2014. Currently it is just in leafing mode:

Have fun with your Phal, Orchidgirl! It is very addicting to grow them!
