We are moving next spring and I am going back and forth. It's less than an hour away.
I would have loved to have moved them in the fall but I was in the hospital fighting cancer.
I am transporting the plants in an SUV and still don't have the strength to do a lot at once so it has been bit by bit. If things go well in the next month, I am actually thinking of moving in alone to get my gardens in order. I would love to see everything blooming next spring
I will just pot them up and then take and plant them as soon as I can. I don't believe I could dig out and transport the entire clump of dirt

Yes, everything that I have dug up so far has been kept in the shade and then hardened off before planting

Thank you for your help, Smiling
Gardening is learning, learning, learning. That's the fun of them.
You're always learning !
