jersey - I was just reading information yesterday about using garbage cans for potatoes and the article recommended drilling holes in the sides of the cans for better soil aeration. This will be my first year trying them and I wouldn't know what works and what doesn't. I would have thought last year would have been ideal for growing potatoes as we didn't have too many hot days and we did have more rain than usual.
