Copperbeach, thanks for the pic of kniphofia--which one is this? Is that a salvia in front, and if so, which one is it?

Here is a photo of our hardy (or creeping) blue plumbago as the ground cover on the south side of the sidewalk. It doesn't look anything like this now for the moles really tore it up during the winter. We have put in replacement plants and hope we can get it back the way it used to be. The color is just fantastic, what I consider "true blue". Butterflies, moths, bees and even the hummingbirds are attracted to to this plant.
