This is a timely gardening idea as I JUST this morning pulled out some old troughs and thought I should drill holes. (Well, my husband should drill holes.) I do more and more container gardening, these days. The only (bad) thing about small containers is, of course, they they dry out quickly. My gardens are too expansive to think of drip systems (very spendy) in most places. But I have a few ideas where these troughs would be terrific. AND they would make great indoor containers for some spring plants--primrose, maybe. I agree
