Hi All,
It would be wonderful to have a forum to discuss gardening with those that share a similar climate and face many of the same challenges. Discussions could lead to better plant selections that are more suited to our humid, subtropical climate. It may also provide easier access to information that is more tailored to our local growing conditions for dealing with issues such as disease, pests, etc. In addition, it could provide a place to arrange plant trade parties and share information about local events.
If there is enough interest and positive feedback from members in the various states in the southeastern U.S., then Dave may start considering the creation of a forum.
