Hi Sue again, I wonder if there is a way of getting more info about that garden. Perhaps a listing of their plantings or a contact to whom to write. Naturally every garden is very much site specific and some like Dirt just above think that they cannot manage heathers ( or other acid loving plants) because of their given environment. This is naturally true ...except when you come up with a stubborn person like myself that will not accept it... I keep myself telling that I should not venture into more and... suddenly I find myself involved in large projects that keep me going for a decade or more, paying no heed with advancing age and...surprisingly I find the time and energy to get them accomplished and even have the time to share the joy with others worldwide... Once again I want to thank all of those fine ATP people sharing up here, their doings and undoings in this garden world
