I have a small window in my shower, that I would like to etch or somehow add permanent privacy. I say permanent because some of the things I've looked at (like spray frost in a can) are not water proof. I am afraid the vinyl clings will not stick long term with the heat and water. So I wonder if the etching cream would add enough to really obscure or not? and if I can apply it to the window since it is vertical (not laying flat) -would it run? Any ideas please thank you!

also I don't want to block out the sun entirely, just add privacy.
