Hi javaMom: Welcome!
What is the name of that pretty yellow one?

I've been in and out and around Dallas/Ft Worth a few times. Just by chance, I was in the Braniff concourse at DFW when their Concorde SST came in for the first time back in 1979; a big commotion with lots of TV coverage about at the time. I remember another time I took a back way around Burleson to Weatherford and got lost in a fog so bad I couldn't see the ground. I took a tour of the old Cowboys Stadium once and stood on the centerfield 'Blue Star'. And in 1997, Dallas/Fort Worth was chosen as the site for my wife's biannual family reunion. So lots of good memories for sure.

Anyway, I know you'll enjoy this forum. I've learned a lot here. When it comes to lilium, the 'regulars' on this forum each has a somewhat unique area of expertise. For example, I like to cross pollenate and hybridize to find something new and different. Another may like Species and another may grow them for beauty in mixed gardens and so on. It's a good place to ask questions regardless how simple or how complex or how dumb they may seem.

I should add we like pictures--lots of them, so post away. Include leaves and stems (whole plant) when possible. Smiling
